Welcome to Regina On The Runway: Your Ultimate Guide to Crafting Unforgettable Travel Experiences

You asked… so I delivered. Welcome to Regina On The Runway! I’m so excited to bring you along this journey with me, where we’ll explore the beauty that lies within cities all around the world. Whether you’re an international dreamer, a travel beginner, or a regular passport stamper, I hope that you’ll find a home here!

My name is Regina Thomas. I’m a Nigerian bread Dallas, TX native living in Atlanta, GA. In looking back, I can attribute my love for travel to my volleyball days. At a relatively young age, I had the privilege of being introduced to a number of cities through competition. In college, a typical weekend consisted of being in two different states all before class at 8 AM on Monday. Professionally, I had the honor of playing/living in Sweden, a country that will always hold a special place in my heart. I believe that from there, an enthusiasm for travel was birthed.

I have had my fair share of trips around the globe, with far more stops remaining on my list than I care to admit. While I claim to be no expert, I genuinely get excited when people ask me questions about travel. I believe that travel brings out the best in all of us. It facilitates self-growth, it evokes a sense of gratitude, it rounds our perspectives and respect for others. There is beauty in the discovering and uncovering of novel spaces.

“So how do you plan these trips?” A question that I’ve been asked more times than I can count on ten fingers and toes. It’s actually easier than you think (be on the lookout for my travel planning process in a separate post). While there is nothing wrong with utilizing a travel agent, it simply isn’t necessary. There are so many great resources available to us in this day in age to help guide our travel plans. Truth be told, I’m a bit of a control freak, so I find comfort in knowing that every aspect of my trip has been hand picked by me. One resource in particular that I gravitate to during my planning process is blog posts *cues Regina On The Runway;)

I’d like to reiterate that I am no travel expert.  I’m not here to give you historical facts about that one temple that I never stepped foot in, and simply took pictures outside of. Instead, I’m here to candidly and honestly recount my own travel itineraries, provide helpful tips, and share recommendations of my most memorable experiences. I strive to be a resource in your process of planning a trip that is completely catered to you; and I hope that this space evokes the explorer in us all. Together, we will create an unforgettable experience!

See you on the Runway…
